Research capacities    

For all the members in refractories R＆D department, one has a doctorate degree, four of them master’s degrees, 10 of them bachelor’s degrees, 2 of them engaging in the chemical material developments. It has built up a good technologically cooperative relationship with Baosteel research institution, Wuhan Science and Technology University and Shanghai silicate research institute of china science academy. At the beginning of 2007, the research institution of our company was officially founded and it was responsible for the development of prospective products and the research of new techniques.

The institute is equipped with electronic microscope, X fluorescence analyzer, laser particle analyzer, heat conduct instrument, high temperature MOR test instrument and many other advanced testing analyzing facilities.

Currently, the top-grade slided plate, porous plug unit, high quality castables for steel ladle, Magnesite carbon brick(low carbon), Alumina-Siliconcaride -Carbon  brick for torpedo car developed by our company are extensively used in many domestic and international steel companies, and obtain good achievements. In the year of 2001, Wuhan University of Science and Technology established an industrialization base in our company for scientific and technological achievements.
